Your Conservative run Council has continued its record of saving money and improving services. We froze the Council Tax for 2014 and are freezing it for 2015.
In Northwich, the new Memorial Court leisure centre is due to open in Spring 2015. Barons Quay has now started on site, with the cinema, restaurants and new shops scheduled to open in Autumn 2016.
We encourage residents to use the “Report It” service for issues such as pot-holes, dog-fouling, rubbish collection, via the website or contact 0300 123 8 123: http://www.cheshirewestandchester.gov.uk/residents/online_services/report_it.aspx or “SMYLE” smart phone app.
We have been continuing to work to find a long term solution to the issues of car parking in residential areas within our ward to establish a “Grass Verges & Car Parking” protocol on this matter with Cheshire West. We have been able to secure some initial funding via our Members Budgets and the Parish Council to go towards it. This creates a potential solution and we are pleased we have been able to ensure Weaver & Cuddington ward is acting as a “pilot area” for the protocol so our residents will have the opportunity to benefit first.
If you have any issues you would like to discuss, a Community Project in Weaver and Cuddington ward or anything else that would benefit our residents, please contact us via www.weaverandcuddington.com or 01606 854 294
