We are pleased to annouce that Adam Wordsworth has been confirmed alongside Cllr Charles Fifield and Paul Williams, as our 3 candidates for Weaver & Cuddington Ward.
The 2019 local elections will see a change in ward boundaries, due to a reduction in the total number of Borough Councillors from 75 to 70, leading to changes in wards and boundaries across West Cheshire. Weaver & Cuddington will remain a 3 member ward covering the existing villages of Acton Bridge, Cuddington, Delamere Park, Sandiway and Weaverham, to which Crowton and Norley will also become part of the ward. Dutton and Bartington however will move into Marbury ward.
Adam Wordsworth served for 10 years in the Police Force, lives with his partner and 2 young children. He currently serves on Frodsham Town Council.
Cllr Charles Fifield said “I am looking forward to working hard with both Paul and I are sure the residents of Weaver & Cuddington would like to thank my fellow Cllr Harry Tonge for all their hard work for the ward in recent years, who will be stepping down from representing the ward in May. We would also like to thank Cllr Ralph Oultram, who currently represents Crowton and Norley for all his hard work over many years, as he is stepping down from the Council in May”.
